Regional Head-South (Agri Input)
We are currently retained by a well-established Agri player to hire a Regional Head- South for them.
Role: Regional Head- South (Agri input)
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
- This role needs a seasoned Sales and Marketing Agri professional who likes working closely with farmers and has deep understanding of Agri input industry.
- We need someone who has demonstrated experience in handling business development activities in Southern states specially Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.
- You must be well versed with either Kannada or Telugu to be effective.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accountable for revenue generation and margin targets for southern region.
- Building, planning, directing, and implementing business strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the states.
- Managing inventory and controlling the cost of the branch.
- Liaison with Government departments for various schemes and programmes run by government.
- Conduct demand generation activities like farmer's meet/ webinar/seminar/Govt. official's meet.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team.
To fit the bill, you must have :
- Graduate in Agri followed by MBA in Agri from Tier 1 college
- 12+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing for Agri input companies
- Handled Southern states specially Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala
- Fluency in Kannada or Telugu is a MUST
- Handled a large team size
- Strong understanding of distribution models
- Strong presentation and pitching skills.
This role will involve extensive travel, apply only if you are willing to travel- this isn't an office-based role only.
