Regional Head for a leading brand of Supermarket in India (Part of a Multi Billion Dollar Conglomerate)
- Delivering P&L across retail and online channels;
- Responsible for maximizing sales and profitability throughout stores and for ensuring customer service standards are across all stores in the region
- Delivering operational excellence through continuous improvement and transformation projects with direct or indirect impact on cost lines. Network Expansion & Sales - NSO with increasing frequency
- Streamlining retail operations to achieve operational excellence.
- Defining the Operating Model for standardization at stores
- Managing multiple programs and projects to drive efficiency, productivity and continuous improvements in operations Managing Operation
- Supporting Functions like Marketing, HR Store Communication, New Store Opening, Maintenance, Audits and Service
- Strategy Development and on ground execution Experience of Format Development, New Market Assessment, Site Selection & In Depth Catchment Study Responsible for Store Expansion & Achieving the LTP
- Directing on CAPEX requirements, manage and monitor their implementation, ensure budgetary Control and timely delivery
- Contributing towards knowledge transfer of Band International Guidelines and match local aspirations
- Defining roles and Responsibility of Key Team while also setting SOP and audit implementation; Listing objectives and establish a robust task team to open new stores ahead of managements expectation
The group is professionally managed and has a large European expat base at Management level. They are looking for someone at a senior level, who has a strong commercial, customer retail background & can bring an entrepreneurial approach in achieving growth & bottom line targets, through a combination operational excellence in a dynamically changing multi-channel retail environment in India.
