Position Regional Head - HR (North India)

Role Purpose :
Responsible for the delivery of the human resources strategy across the Region to support business to deliver targets, whilst ensuring adherence to the Corporate policies and procedures.
Complete responsibility for people management, acting as an adviser and providing professional support for all HR & related activities
Partner effectively with the Regional team to deliver end-to-end Human Resource services initiatives & engagement for the region
Role Details:
Talent Acquisition:
Plan and execute the region's hiring plans including entry-level recruitment for the sales team.
Talent Engagement :
- Partner in driving employee engagement programs through proactive and structured interventions
- Handle grievances and concerns with empathy and bring them to closure
- Keeps a proactive check on the general employee well-being & engagement levels and intervene actively when necessary
Learning & Development:
- Plan and execute the training & development programs as per Corporate L&D Calendar
- Actively build a culture of learning by sharing best practices and knowledge-sharing across the region.
- Jointly responsible for onboarding, initial coaching & mentoring of employees
Performance Management:
- Partner with the line managers to address performance gaps and facilitates discussions/processes to assess appropriate action
- Guide Line Managers on all aspects of performance management including feedback and performance coaching
Process Improvement & Program Effectiveness:
- Partner with the central HR Team for all processes like onboarding, background verifications, payroll, leave & attendance regularizations, exits, etc
- Provides input and feedback to the Central HR Team on gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR programs and policies
- Contribute to developing/refining of HR programs & processes through quality improvement interventions
Overall Excellence:
- Partner in sharing the HR trends & intelligence for alignment & review of HR priorities
- Participate in the implementation of the Annual Performance Cycle by providing consultation on the process and program tool support
- Provide support to Corporate HR on key HR projects with stakeholders in areas of Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Learning Culture, etc
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
- Significant experience and knowledge of the local job market in the Financial Services sector
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders
- Ability to coach and mentor sales employees, having a strong sales acumen himself/herself
- Strong Business Communication skills with the ability to influence and convince stakeholders by objectively presenting & challenging views
- Proficient in handling employee issues with sensitivity, objectivity and empathy
- Proficient in data analytics, process orientations & exception handling
- Team Player with the ability to network & collaborate with diverse teams across locations
Education Qualification :
- MBA in HR
- Minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience
