Our client is a Global MNC CE company and they are looking for a suitable person for the following role:

Job Summary :

The Business Manager (Regional Field Sales Manager) will be responsible for Business to Business(BTB) sales for the given area.

The role has following 3 components:

- Channel Management

- Key Account Management

- Business Development for focus segments - Education and Enterprise and Government.

The individual should be able to balance the above objectives to meet the given revenue plan for his region.

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (Enterprise)

Job Location: Chandigarh

Job Description:

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the product plan for the given region.

- This would involve identification and onboarding of new resellers and at the same time driving depth in the business of current resellers in the territory. This would require business planning and account mapping for each such reseller in his region.

- The individual would need to develop an understanding of companies mobility offerings specifically for education and enterprise segments and act as an evangelist for channel and customers in his region.

- The individual would also need to focus on developing the key accounts/ named accounts in his region and grow the wallet share for company products.

- The person also needs to identify the business development activities required for his territory and work with the business development and program resources to execute the same in his region. This involves trade shows, single to many customer briefing sessions and roadshows etc.

- The individual would also work closely with the local distributor resources in the region to support the training requirements of the channel.

- The individual is also expected to organize quarterly business reviews with his channel. Please note that in some locations the role may involve working from a Home-office/ Business Centre.

Key Qualifications :

- Experience in Channel Management desired. Prior experience of handling IT resellers/ BTB resellers, handling a region/ territory with ownership of sales numbers. Should have proven track record in channel acquisition and relationship management.

- Should have background in key account management including making of account plans, understanding of the sales cycle and price bid management tools.

- Understanding of business development activities desired. The individual should be able to identify key events/ activities that would help the channel develop a pipeline for the focus segments - Education and Enterprise.

- Should have sound knowledge of IT sector including mobility and key players in the arena.

- The individual should have strong people and presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
