Purpose of Role
- Primarily responsible for Revenue from the Assigned territory by managing to get business from the Advertisers in the Online Travel Vertical
- Forge new relationships and build strong business bonds with Clients
- Help the Account Managers with existing Clients in growing the overall share of business
Reporting - Head, Business Development SEA
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Assigned Clients, in the Assigned Territory
- Forging strong working relationships with sponsors at assigned clients, mid to sr. mgmt. levels
- Manage all new business development & account management activities
- Fine tune BD pitch from time to time
- Build, nurture & motivate the business development team.
- Conduct opportunity & competitive analysis and Identify opportunity for growing business
- Actively contribute to product development & enhancement based on trends & client feedback
- Achieve set revenue and manpower targets
Qualifications
Experience: 5-8 years in a B2B set-up in Sales, Pre-sales or BD functions, primarily managing the Travel/Online Travel/Hospitality verticals
- Has done business with Clients in atleast 4 out of the 5 Key Geo’ - Thailand/Malaysia/Singapore /Indonesia Or has a clear contact in atleast 5 out of top 10 travel clients in SEA.
- Skill set: Strong functional expertise – Sales & Business Development; Reasonable internet domain & Appreciates technology and its ability to create value; Has forged strong relations in the region
- Soft skills: Has strong verbal & written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Others: Experience of having worked in an Individual Contributor role is a plus
