Job Purpose Statement (Summarise in one/two statements why this job exists and the contribution makes to the overall business of the company) : To analyze, develop, maintain and Expand the SME Retail portfolio in assigned geography.
Duties & Responsibilities ( List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job):
New Business & Product Development:
- Analyze the market for the products and do market research.
- Planning & execute market promotional activities according to market & business requirements.
- Meet with new customers for sourcing, assistance in business development activities.
- To establish strong marketing channels in the assigned territory through market research policies.
- Develop suitable products for new business opportunities.
Credit Assessment:
- Perform detailed credit analysis, field visit of the cases. Co-ordinate for credit risk assessment.
- CAM preparation and analysis of financial statements.
- Present the analysis to the committee for approval through Head - SME.
Operations & Monitoring:
- Co-ordinate for legal documentation, disbursement.
- Post-disbursement monitoring, Company performance monitoring, maintaining portfolio quality.
- Relationship management with the companies.
- Ensure collection of dues from the customers and also to help and monitor the payment from the company.
Organisational Relationship (Provide an organisational chart which illustrates the organisational structure above and below this position).:
- Head - Underwriting
- National Credit Manager
- Regional Credit Manager - SME
Key Challenges (List the key tasks performed to support the main objectives of the position).
- Underwriting of business.
- Maintaining portfolio quality.

- Proposal structuring, customer visits, business development.
- Proposal structuring, new products, Approval & Rejection of the cases.
- Sanction of the cases, creation/modification of credit and risk policies.
