The Regional Compliance Officer is responsible for the effective functioning of the compliance program in the India business.

- The RCO is a key member of the India business team and candidates need to be experienced Compliance professionals from the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.

- The role reports to the IRAMEA Compliance Officer and is a member of the India Management Team.

- Candidates must be experienced in implementing compliance programs and in conducting investigations and driving effective implementation of corrective action.

Essential Job Functions :

- Supporting in developing and maintaining risk assessments for the applicable business, determining areas of focus and developing mitigation plans

- Acts as a Designated Approver for the applicable region.

- Provide day to day advice and guidance to the business teams on compliance matters, including the implementation of the Global Compliance Program

- Ensures the effective implementation of global policies and procedures in the business

- Partners with the Third Party Seller Compliance team to support the due diligence of third parties used by the business. Conducts assessment and training of third parties to assure their compliance with the Code and applicable laws.

- Monitors and reports status on Compliance KPI’s. Creates and implements action plans to address performance gaps as needed.

- Conducts investigations to the extent requested by Legal and/or the Division Compliance Officer. Ensures consistent and appropriate investigative processes are utilized.

- Chairs the India Compliance Committee

- Participates in Business Leadership meetings

- Ensure the quality of compliance documentation (i.e., training, policies, and procedures).

- Develops and implement compliance training materials

- Ensures that appropriate and consistent corrective actions are implemented for compliance issues. Tracks issues and corrective actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness of actions

- Partners with the Global Compliance Monitoring team to ensure timely completion of monitoring for the region

- Assists in Compliance audits as requested

- Ensures the effective communication of Compliance messages.

- Supervises compliance activities of junior OEC staff and LCLs.

- Carries out special projects as required
