About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading diagnostics company globally with a presence in over 25 countries. Known for their employee friendly culture , they have been rapidly expanding operations in India. They are currently looking for a regional internal audit officer to be a part of their South East Asian Audit and Compliance operations based out of their corporate office in Gurgaon.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global VP Internal Audit and the Global Chief Ethics officer, you role will include:

- Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, company policies/procedures methods of audit, review and follow-up

- Reviewing and evaluating compliance issues/concerns within the organization (e.g., health care laws, anti-corruption, data privacy)

- Maintaining corporate policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program

- Identifying potential areas of compliance risk or vulnerability

- Performing risk assessments of the Company's processes and link identified controls to the financial statement line items

- Participating in project teams to ensure that changes in current processes, systems and/or personnel are well controlled

- Communicating the results of audit work to the parties concerned including suggestions for improvement

- Exercising objectivity and a high degree of professionalism in resolving audit issues in a fair, efficient and equitable manner

The Successful Applicant

You must be a Chartered Accountant with 5 - 8 years of post qualification experience within a professional services or a relevant internal audit function. Previous exposure within pharmaceutical or health care industry will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to not only identify but also improve process gaps is strongly preferred. Prior experience in FCPA compliances is a must.
