SUMMARY
To support & monitor Max Retail Stores commercial & business activities for the Region
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Control
- Provide Store Commercial control & support
- Monitor the retail sales collection & Cash Flow
- Monitor Store Expenses and ensure budgetary control
- Ensure Internal Audit compliance
- Coordination with IT department on retail operations (LANPOS), promotions at Stores
- Coordination with internal & external departments, statutory bodies, government departments and ensure registrations and compliance are in place
Statutory compliances
- Ensure statutory remittances and compliances: PF, ESI, PT etc
- Procure trade and other requisite licenses for new stores, renewal of required licenses for existing stores
- Ensure payment of bills on time
- Verify and validate monthly / annual VAT / Sales Tax Returns
- Ensure remittance of statutory Forms (C & F)
Inventory Management
- Monthly reconciliation of inward and outward inventory from RDCs to the Hyper Market
- Ensure coordination of stock taking and passing of variance entries
- Understand the inventory requirements for promotion activities
- Validate the MIS reporting of inventory in various stores
Franchise Reconciliation
- Follow up for outstanding payments from Franchise stores and ensure the receipt of the same
- Calculate the sales tax for franchises and ensure that same is paid by the franchises
- Reconcile ledger balance once in a month
- Franchisee Stores accounting, payment and coordination for setup
Budgeting and Reporting
- Budget preparation for all stores in region once in a year
- Report actual vs budget variance report on P&L comparison (MTD & YTD) store wise to the regional managers and areas managers on a monthly basis
