We need candidates from Tier 1 MBA colleges who have strong exposure into Channel Development, Network Expansion, Distribution management from FMCG, telecom, Consumer Durable, Tyre Industry who are handling East region ( West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Orissa ) and willing to apply with a Leading Consumer Durable Company for their Kolkata location .

Full Time MBA from Tier 1 MBA college is mandatory

Job responsibilities

- Lead the process of coming up with incremental growth and channel development strategies for different geographies and market dynamics. Identify white spaces for new distributor rollout, areas for improvement in channel structure and so on

- Develop, manage and own the business cases (including economic models, ROI analysis, margin structures etc) for different channel partners. Prepare and implement templates for ROI modeling, distributor assessment etc

- Prepare strategic options for channel partnerships for Crompton in different geographies basis cross-functional coordination with core sales team and product teams

- Personally, interact with channel partners to gather information on industry developments and to identify opportunities

- Closely communicate with sales field force organization, realize frequent customer & retailer visits to measure the field's pulse

- Oversee new distributor appointment, launch and monitor performance in initial ramp-up phase

- Oversee the development and roll-out of key channel enablers including technology enablers (Eg. Managing Distributor Management Systems rollouts, using Salesforce Automation, working on rollout of dealer portal etc)

- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement

Skill sets / competencies

- Strong organizational and leadership skills - ability to lead and manage a cross-functional team with efficiency & attention to detail

- Strong understanding of consumer sales and distribution network development

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to work cross-functionally with different departments

- Ability to understand and contribute to the business direction for the company

Experience

- experience in consumer sales and marketing with strong experience in channel partner engagement, appointment and management

- Experienced in engaging with and managing large distributors / distribution houses

- Prior experience in FMCG, FMCD, Electrical industry is strongly preferred
