About our Client - Our client is one of the Global FMCG giants with a lot of focus on distribution expansion across General trade and Modern Trade with a special focus on alternate channels for which they are looking for a person with previous experience in Horeca/Institutional sales to handle the alternate channels business for the entire region
Job Description - Reporting into the Business Head for Alternate Channels you will be managing a team of 3 KDE's and 8 outsourced team of business executives and will be responsible:
- To develop and manage the business with Emerging /Alternate Channels across all product categories in Hospitals, Airlines, Cinemas, Corporate, Hotels, Railways, Schools ,corporate cooperative stores and Eatery Chains for the Region & Central Police Canteen
- To negotiate contracts for supply of products to Hospitals, Airlines, Cinemas, Corporate, Hotels, Railways, Schools and Eatery Chains
- Supply chain management (exclusive distributors, forecasting, servicing)
- Relationship management (with stakeholders, both internal and external)
- Channel management (consumer offers, special packs, special visibility elements, etc)
The Successful Candidate - You should be strictly 2009-10 batch from a premier B school with experience in handling sales in Horeca, institutions, CSD or Immediate consumption/on-premise channels Channel Knowledge & the ways of working in the Emerging channel space is critical to win with the shopper & customer
- Prior experience in channel management building / creating / driving sales in Non traditional trade channels that are present nationally / regional
- Ability to train and influence the stake holders across channels to build and drive business effectively is a must
- Capability to conduct class room trainings on fundamentals and building specific channel expertise will be an added advantage
- Previous experience as a line Sales Manager will be an added advantage
