Company A leading Business Conglomerate

Position : Region Head Transport Exchange

Reporting To : Business Head

Role Overview and Ownership Areas :

- Region Head will be responsible for Region specific Business strategy & Business growth, Targets/Plans, and Execution/Operating Metrics including P&L.

- Region Head will play an active role in acquiring and retaining strategic accounts (Supplier & Shipper)

Key Responsibility Areas :

- Strategizing and achieving region specific business and revenue target in-terms of Supplier /Shipper / Broker sign-ups for services and subscriptions - Supporting product development through identification of new business/revenue generation opportunities

- Leading and managing all aspects of strategic/flagship (Large/Institutional) accounts from lead generation, meeting and qualifying leads (potential clients) as part of sales process

- Responsible for outstanding experience in terms of seamless on-boarding, efficient processes & systems and hi-quality services - Responsible for customer retention through customized/new/value added services

- Ensure operational workflows are well defined and strict adherence to operational SLAs, Metrics, SOPs

- Keeping track of market developments, competitors and feed into business intelligence for targeted marketing efforts to sustain business goals

- Team Management and Organization Building to drive high performance - Work with stakeholders to plan and build organization structure needed to serve the customer in line with brand promise and vision-mission for the business

Desired Skillsets / Experiences :

- 12 - 15 years of Logistics / Supply chain industry Experience with sales and operations background

- At least 2-3 years of Experience in leading State / Region level sales and operations teams for large fleet operators and/or institutional shippers

- Adept in managing client relationship with strategic/marquee accounts

- Experienced leader and builder of customer centric teams/organizations

- Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and Regional language)

Qualification : MBA from Tier I/II B School

Attributes :

- Good Analytical, Critical and Logical reasoning skills

- Ability in handling, interpreting and analysing data

- Proactive, self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal guidance

- Willingness to travel extensively within the State/Region

- Good understanding of the local geography, culture, market characteristics/traits
