Category and Partnerships Manager/ Brand Alliances
Role Overview: As a Category and Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Refyne Privilege Club by establishing strategic partnerships with brands and securing exclusive deals on a wide range of consumer products. You will be responsible for negotiating discounts, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring a diverse and high-quality product offering on our marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:
- Identify and engage potential brand partners across various consumer product categories - electronics, travel, home & kitchen, d2c brands
- Negotiate and finalise agreements to secure deep discounts and exclusive deals for Refyne users.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brand representatives and key stakeholders.
- Category Management:
- Oversee the curation and management of product categories, ensuring a diverse and
appealing selection for users.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to optimize category strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of products into the marketplace.
Deal Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals for our users.
- Manage and track contract performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
Marketplace Strategy:
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote featured products and drive user engagement.
- Analyze sales data and user feedback to refine product offerings and improve the overall marketplace experience.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on partnership performance and category success.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of atleast 3 - 4 years in category management, partnerships, or business development, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable deals and building successful partnerships.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the consumer products market and current industry trends is a plus.
