Job Summary:

The IT Manager will be overseeing and managing Refriango' s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, firewalls, cloud services, and SAP functional support for the Industrial business. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience in managing IT operations. The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professionals, coordinate hardware and software installations, manage technical support, and work to ensure the organization's technology needs are met efficiently.

The role is with Refriango DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). Refriango is coming up with state-of-the-art manufacturing set-up in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. This role will involve managing IT infrastructure at corporate office and Site.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:

- Oversee server administration, virtualization, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

- Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring uptime and security.

- Administer and configure Network Switches, WIFI, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity measures.

- Implement IT security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Setup and Monitor backup & disaster recovery solutions for business continuity.

IT Operations & Support:

- Manage IT support teams to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

- Ensure end-user computing support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

- Optimize IT asset management, licensing, and vendor coordination.

- Implement ITIL-based incident and change management processes.

Project Management & Strategy:

- Lead IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, and SAP Implementations

- Define IT strategies aligning with business goals.

- Ensure IT cost optimization and budget control.

System Backup and Disaster Recovery:

- Develop, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Respond to system failures and ensure business continuity through recovery strategies.

Compliance and Documentation:

- Ensure IT systems and practices comply with relevant regulations, including data privacy and security standards.

- Maintain detailed documentation on IT systems, procedures, and processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure & network management

- Strong knowledge of Windows servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cybersecurity.

- Knowledge of Cloud environment management will be an added advantage.

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, managed L2/ L3 switches, VPN, & security frameworks.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- IT Service vendor management

- Excellent communications Skill, basic knowledge of French language is preferred.
