Job Title: Sales Manager - Digital Radiography
Job description
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with a proven track record in the digital radiography sector to expand our market presence across India. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the healthcare and medical imaging industry and will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Indian market.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
Market Expansion:
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability.
- Disseminate knowledge about regulatory standards and changes specifically relevant to digital radiography systems.
Team Management and Development:
- Manage the sales team, define sales targets, and monitor performance, ensuring that all sales team members meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.
- Mentor and develop the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Reporting and Analysis :
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity weekly to build and adapt appropriate sales strategy.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with customers for future business growth and respond effectively to customer concerns.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop collateral and promotions.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure customer feedback is communicated and integrated into product development and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of sales experience in the medical imaging industry, specifically with digital radiography products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and [local language if applicable].
Travel Requirement:
This position requires frequent travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and other events across India (approximately 50-60% travel).
