This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in software development management, product development, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development Strategy and Management:

- Develop and implement comprehensive software development strategies to support business goals and drive innovation.

- Oversee all software development activities, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Project Management and Execution:

- Plan and execute software development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.

Product Development:

- Lead the software development team in developing new software products and enhancing existing ones.

- Collaborate with product management to define product requirements and ensure technical feasibility.

Quality Assurance and Control:

- Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.

- Implement best practices and standards for software development excellence.

Innovation and Technology:

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the software development team.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive technological advancements.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

- Collaborate with other departments such as product management, marketing, and sales to align software development efforts with business objectives.

- Work closely with senior executives to provide software development insights and recommendations.

Leadership and Team Development:

- Lead and mentor the software development team, fostering a culture of high performance and technical excellence.

- Ensure the software development team has the skills and resources necessary to support the company's objectives.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Technical and Professional Skills:

- Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience with programming languages, software development frameworks, and development tools.

- Proficiency in Agile and DevOps methodologies.

- Good Knowledge on AWS, Node, React, MS SQL , Big Data, Power BI is essential

Leadership and Management Skills:

- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

Personal Attributes:

- High level of integrity and ethical standards.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


- A master's degree or MBA is preferred.

- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Experience in TRANSPORTs preferred.
