Refex Group - Financial Modeler

Position Summary : The Financial Modeler will ensure developing, updating, and managing financial models for various infrastructure PPP businesses by using financial knowledge and advanced excel skills.

Note :Hands on experience working for complex financial model is a must.

The Objectives of this role include :

- Developing new financial models

- Updating financial models based on various inputs from stakeholders

- Analysing output of the model

- Compose Corporate Presentation for Pitching Institutional Investors

Position Responsibility :

- Preparing financial model of infrastructure sector

- Develop financial models of regulated infrastructure PPP projects (incl. integrated P&L, Cash flow, and Balance sheet models) from scratch

- Amend models developed by third parties

- Carry out financial analysis of the outputs of models

- Evaluate companies using various financial valuation methods, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, capital structure analysis, etc

- Build sensitivity and scenario analysis in financial model.

- Conduct Profitability Analysis by undertaking Project Cash Flow Review.

- Ensure consistency in developed financial models and create/maintain project documentation and data books.

- Carry out testing of models as per industry best quality control procedures.

- Review models and feedback findings to management.

- Document the operation of models and the findings.

- Compose Corporate Presentation for Pitching Institutional Investors like Private Equity and Non- Banking.

- Identify key financial as well as non- financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks.

Position Qualification, Experience, and Requirements :

- CA/MBA Finance/CFA or related qualification

- 3- 10 years of financial modeling experience of infrastructure projects

- Strong familiarity with accounting, tax, infrastructure regulations, and PPP projects

- Proven experience in a corporate finance setting

- Proficient in Advance Excel and Financial Modelling (proficiency in using pre- defined formulas, creating charts, building macros)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

- Excellent managerial and organizational abilities

- Excellent interpersonal skills
