The ideal candidate should have a CA or an MBA in Finance from Top B-school.

Should have worked as a Chief of Staff in the current role or previous role. Must have good experience in strategy formulation and implementation, should have handled M&A and financial MIS & Restructuring.

Must be willing to relocate to Chennai

Highlights :

1. Serving as strategic and financial advisor to the CEO.

2. Assuming day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks assigned by the CEO.

3. Act as a shadow to the CEO for all the business meetings

4. Detail oriented, Cultural driven, Openness, M&A and Business process.

5. Creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.

Responsibilities :

1. Detail Oriented :

- Should have good analytical skill and research oriented.

- 360 view details of the projects

- Eye for details

- Ownership of the assigned task

- Should go an extra mile to get the things done on time

- Meeting preparation

- Strategic lead on high-profile projects

- Reviewing Internal and External Communications: drafting company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches or presentations for the CEO.

- Monitoring information flow: Sometimes acting as a gatekeeper, ensuring a CEO's involvement in a project or decision-making process at the right moment.

- Managing the meeting cadence for the board of directors and leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance, time is well spent, and objectives are achieved.

- Planning and leading company retreats, stepbacks, and other special events.

2. Cultural driven :

- Should drive the cultural changes in the business and company by having cross functional departmental relationship.


- Entrepreneurial and ownership

- High level of energy to drive the change

3. Openness :

- Willingness to learn the business in order to achieve the vision and mission.

4. M&A Strategy :

- Good understanding of M&A, restructuring the organisation.


- Short- and long-term Mergers and Acquisition strategy

- Should have strong business acumen

5. Financial strategy :

- Good understanding of P&L, balance sheet and business MIS.


- Strong P&L knowledge and work towards achieving the goal

- Should have strong interpreting knowledge

- Leading annual strategic planning for the company.

- Creating & updating dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.

6. Business Process :

- Strong in value creation and lean management.


- Create and add value to all the task managed

- Should act as a mentor and give right findings

- Should act as a lean advisor

- Interacting with Board of Directors

- Prepare case study and reports to be presented.

Position Experience and Qualification :

- An CA or Engineering degree with Post Graduation in business management from tier 1 business school (IIM/IIT) with minimum of 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

- Prior experience working with a consulting firm handling Strategy, Mergers and acquisitions is a must.

- Willing to relocate to Chennai HO.

- Excellent communication and innovative skills
