Supply Chain Project Manager

Job Purpose :

- To lead and manage the delivery of supply chain projects by ensuring highest quality, identifying process gaps, system needs in order to improve business efficiency

Key accountabilities :

Strategic :

- Formulate the project plan in consultation with management and other relevant stakeholders

- Define implementation strategies including pilot, roll-out, and post roll-out support

- Participate in the planning and budget process for all assigned projects

Financial :

- Design supply chain plans to meet financial goals and demand requirements

- Plan and implement cost control, production efficiency and value creation measures to ensure all department operating costs (Opex and Site Capex) are within agreed budget and target

Operational :

Establish project schedules and coordinate all activities associated with project completion including :

- Identification and clarification of project objectives and scope

- Establishment of success criteria for the project

- Feasibility studies including cost, capacity and alternative/option analysis

- Establishment and implementation of project team and timetables

- Deliver a set of highly complex, cross functional projects within an agreed timeline

- Develop process understanding/knowledge within the department to enhance better proactive identification and correction when a process drift occurs

- Define the roadmap for project deliverables in collaboration with the IT Department

- Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to validate proposed functional and process change

- Liaise with external solution providers to define testing strategies

- Provide data analytics support in order to improve the efficiency of the supply chain function

- Prepare and present regular project updates identifying progress and risks to the management

People Management :

- Establish clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the department

- Motivate staff and empower direct reports by providing the necessary tools and support required to support department goals

- Coach and mentor the employees to achieve high level of performance which allows them to grow within the organization

Product and Process Improvement :

Identify business needs and opportunities for improvement and make relevant recommendations

Education and Certification :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Degree or relevant degree

Knowledge and Skills :

- Good understanding of demand planning in fashion retail

- Hands on experience in forecasting and inventory control

- Project management experience preferred

- Exposure of retail technology interfaces such WMS, ERP suits, planning tools is an advantage

- Proficient knowledge in MS Project, Word and Excel

Experience : At least 4-5 years of experience in core areas of supply chain.
