PROFILE CONTACT:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations and business development activities in the diagnostics industry. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a new collection center, acquiring direct clients, and driving business growth by managing a sales team.
JD :
- Establish and manage a new collection centre to expand the company's reach and facilitate direct client acquisition.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with pathology laboratories, hospitals, and nursing homes to generate business and promote company offerings.
- Lead and provide overall guidance to the sales team in the assigned territory, including managing, training, and motivating team members.
- Travel within the assigned sales area to visit potential and existing customers, present company offerings, and build brand awareness.
- Monitor the performance of the sales team, track key sales metrics, and implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Oversee a team of 5 Territory Development Managers (TDM) and 13 Phlebotomists, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with related departments such as logistics and operations.
- Plan and execute promotional activities such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, Road to Market (RTM) initiatives, and Residential Welfare Association (RWA) camps to drive sales and business development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in Medical Sciences would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the diagnostics industry, preferably in pathology services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and deliver compelling sales pitches.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and occasionally outside the region as required.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and understanding of the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
