RedCarpet is a digital lender for the next billion users. We are looking for a smart, highly motivated, individual to lead the finance operations team of our business. Background that will be essential for this position:
- You will be a CA and have at least 3 years prior experience with an an NBFC / financial institution, ideally in the consumer financing space.
- You have very deep business acumen and are a strong problem solver.
- You have proven ability to influence and negotiate with external and Internal partners
- You have strong communication and presentation skills
What you will do in this role -
- Manage all aspects of Financial Management including Accounting, Reporting and Budgets, as well as development of internal control policies & procedures surrounding loan disbursements, payments and reconciliations.
- Manage day to day operational finance including (a) Revenue (Invoicing, A/R, Collections, Settlements, Reporting etc), (b) Opex (A/P, Advances, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets etc) and (c) GL Accounting Entries & Reconciliations (Bank, Inventory, Statutory GL, Vendor, Customer etc.)
- Responsible for Compliance of State / Central Government reporting requirements, tax filings and assessments.
- Responsible for Statutory, Internal Audits & reviews, and drive governance thru adherence to business processes, accounting policies and RBI compliance
