Recykal - Key Account Manager - Sustainability Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability and Circularity Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), circularity frameworks, and other sustainability services. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, achieving revenue targets, and actively promoting Recykal's sustainability and circularity solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with a dedicated client portfolio

- Support clients in reaching sustainability and circularity objectives using Recykal's EPR loop technology framework and tools

2. Achieve set order booking/revenue targets for the vertical in the region

- Conduct at least 2 physical visits per month to clients, keeping them informed on industry developments

3. Grow the solution portfolio with each client using Recykal's sustainability and circularity framework

4. Maintain accurate records of clientele information within our EPR loop systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate direct experience in a client-facing role, supporting clients in overcoming challenges and identifying improvement opportunities.

2. Possess a strong understanding of EPR and other sustainability services

3. Keep track of agreement renewals, EPR rules, and regulations applicable to clients

4. Achieve targets for allocated accounts and take ownership of order generation, fulfillment, execution, billing, and timely payment collection

5. Negotiate better rates, reduce credit days, and increase wallet share

6. Provide regular reports to clients on progress status, target achievement, innovations, documentation, credit transfer status, and other updates

7. Cross-sell and upsell sustainability and circularity solutions to enterprise clients, group companies, and increase overall revenue

8. Effectively manage time, collaborate as a team player, and build relationships as the first point of contact for expert advice

9. Communicate effectively through written and oral presentations at all levels

Track, analyze, and report on client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Role Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in sustainability and climate change, with a significant emphasis on circularity

2. 3+ years of experience in a professional services environment leading consulting engagements and teams

3. Masters degree (or MBA) from reputed institutions with a focus on sustainability, environment, waste management, packaging, recycling, etc

4. Experience in working with technology platforms is advantageous

5. Multi-sectoral experience in project management and handling clients for large corporations.

6. Sound knowledge of Plastic waste management rules, e-waste management rules, CPCB notifications, MoEFCC guidelines, online platform for credit transfer, CPCB EPR portal

7. Experience managing clients with billing of at least Rs 25-30 lakhs per annum

8. Open to regular travel to client locations for face-to-face meetings.
