We at Recykal are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Head to lead our marketplace business. As the Business Head - Marketplace, you will be responsible to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and ensure overall success of the marketplace. Your primary focus will be on expanding users, growing the categories under consideration, building meaningful relationships with buyers and sellers, optimizing operations and strategizing to improve metrics across operations, margins etc, and eventually focusing on expanding pro- tability for the business. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving business growth. Any previous experience in managing marketplaces, experience with supply-chain and logistics can prove to be useful.
Key elements of the role include:
1. Own key growth drivers of Recykal's marketplace business
2. Build a strong team of sales & business development leaders.
3. Onboard and Expand the network of Recyclers & Sellers (Waste Generators) & drive their development to align their long term success with Recykal's Growth.
4. Innovate to meet both the Recycler & Seller needs.
5. Should be Data Driven while decision making, one who can thrive & embrace dynamic scenarios
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key influencers in target partner organisations.
7. Appetite to do experiments & learn from the outcome.
8. Review, Analyse & recommend with help of strong Analytical skills.
Key Outcome (OKRs):
1. Heading the P&L of Recykal's Marketplace vertical.
2. Converting organizational vision into a credible and measurable business model.
3. Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's objectives - Revenue growth, Business performance objectives & Financial KPIs.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Integrating and channelizing work processes across multiple functions.
5. Build a strong and geographically diversified seller base.
6. Oversee the process of identification and selection of new Recyclers and Vendors required by the marketplace product verticals; promote effective working relations by establishing and maintaining equitable and mutually profitable relationships across a broad variety of buyers and sellers.
7. Set up Overall business & sales goals - De- ne & review goals of every member in the team.
8. Drive & monitor closely the business & sales of newly onboarded Recyclers & Sellers.
9. Positive Net Promoter score. Continuously Audit Recycler & Seller Experience.
We are looking for:
1. 15+ years of work experience in e -commerce/ B2B marketplace & sales organizations with a Tier 1 B-School Pedigree. Would be an added advantage to have excellent presentation skills.
Mandatory to have
1. 15+ years of experience in Sales & Business Development.
2. Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and meet financial targets.
3. Past experience in scaling marketplace businesses is a plus.
4. Proven track record of building and mentoring a team of high quality Sales, BD, Business professionals (at least a team of 500+ members).
5. Data Driven, passion for qualitative analysis & action based on the analysis.
6. Have a problem solving approach and an ability to build on-the-go.
7. Excellent communication skills, Lead presentations and negotiations to articulate value propositions.
8. Should work from our Head office at Hyderabad.
