Location : Gurugram

Qualification: - CA/ CPA / ICWA (Any one - Mandatory) - Commerce Graduate

Job Description : 

- Ensure that the SLAs and Operations metrics are met 

- Guiding, supporting and working with the Team Leaders & members in meeting SLAs and Operational Metrics 

- Develop management report formats for the Client and Management 

- Supporting the Team Leaders in timely generation of management reports 

- Proactively identify changes required to be initiated in all aspects of the processes 

- Continuous feedback and Performance appraisal 

- Develop a backup plan for all processes handled 

- Facilitate audit, review, etc 

- Reconciliation of assigned accounts in General Ledger to their independent source. Carry out Day to Day Accounting functions 

- Initial financial trending analysis for both US GAAP and STAT 

- Period Close and US STAT Reporting - US GAAP Reporting 

- Preparation of the reporting packs for the financial audit purposes (US GAAP)

- Assistance in the preparation of statutory account packs 

- Dealing with external auditors & accounting advisors

- Reviewing of local bookkeeper's work

- Booking the adjustments from group to statutory financial results

- Perform and review various account reconciliations, Act as an SME for the process and display sound understanding of accounting concepts, reconciliations, MEC process, JE posting etc.

- Proactively recognize problems, maintain an awareness of the clients business, operational activities and processes in areas pertaining to scope of responsibilities. Perform closing and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities :

Core Competencies :

- Must be from Insurance domain

- Proven experience of leading operations team

- Should have knowledge of RTR processes - Tax, Treasury & Cash Management, Accounting & Reporting, Financial Systems, Period Close and US STAT Reporting, US GAAP Reporting

- Proven experience in managing clients

- Good communication skills

- Experience running multi-geography operations/teams
