Job Title: Site Quality Head Reports to: Direct: Quality Director, Health Wellness, AMESA, with dotted line reporting to Site Director Location: Sitarganj, Uttaranchal Band: B Role Summary: - To ensures the quality of all products manufactured and distributed are meeting Global standards by assuring quality systems and processes are in place and in line with regulatory / applicable guidelines. - Interact &amp; work closely with the R&amp;D, Regulatory, Packaging Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics &amp; continuous improvement teams associated with site related activities. - Guiding and Managing local quality team - Will be accountable for all team activities, including performance management for team, customer service, Trainings, QA/QC activities planning, decision-making, problem solving, workload management, continuous improvement, learning, and communications - Setting, improving and auditing the Quality systems. - Establishment of compliant and efficient GMP processes related to operations. Responsibilities/Accountabilities - Guarantee, monitor and improve Quality performance in the manufacturing site - Lead the monthly review meetings at site and at AMESA monthly Quality Review meeting. - Represent the Quality functions and providing the updates during external visits - Managing regulatory &amp; Legal Metrology related issues and visits. - Promote Quality attitude, awareness and mindset on the site by all proper means including training - Implement, audit and develop quality systems, on line with the Global Quality policy/manual and the procedures relevant to the area - Lead and manage the local quality team (QA &amp; QC) &amp; Provide guidance to employees within function or department. - Responsible for administering the company quality program in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. - SOPs &amp; BMRs approval and recommends modification to operating policies. - Assure that all documentation is maintained, updated, reviewed and approved to reflect current processes. - Ensure that Management Review and Annual Product Review program are maintained according to concerned GMP and QMS Requirement - Reviews and evaluates performance issues with the employee. - Primarily responsible for implementing and carrying out short term QA &amp; QC Department/ Function execution plans - Oversee daily Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Document Control processes and functions, including providing direct guidance, distributing work tasks amongst specialists /associates /assistants and monitoring completion to ensure the department is operating efficiently - Promotes awareness of quality regulatory and compliance requirements - Quality function representative or lead for meetings and projects - Responsible for Change management &amp; Deviation activities - Provides direction and support for the development and implementation of robust Quality Systems; reviews and approves quality system documents - Reviews and approves records and associated data in support of GMP operation activities - Monitors and manages investigation and complaint processes - Conducts and documents training events - Manage data analysis and statistical tools used to support quality risk management activities - Supervise team members and support personnel development to ensure essential job functions and duties are performed at high standards - Assist in the recruitment, development, and performance management of staff - Oversee the Quality Function budget &amp; CAPEX management and tracking. - Basic understanding of GMP, Testing (Instrument &amp; Chemical), Schedule requirements associated with Cosmetics &amp; drugs manufacturing facilities. - Assure that all process errors, product failures and any process deviations are investigated and that any corrective actions and/or preventive actions are carried out - Act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system and support all operational departments. - Assure that GMP Compliance is maintained throughout the site. - Overall responsible for the training of all personnel in GMP and overseeing audits. - Lead the internal &amp; external audits. - Assure that all personnel are trained in all procedures that pertain to their specific job function. - Assure that all complaints are recorded properly and are closed out upon resolution with the customer. - Ensure necessary process controls are in place, including hand-over with R&amp;D for new developments and Technology Transfer - Approve sampling instructions, other Quality Control procedures and batch production document according to all specifications, method of manufacturing and test method those transferred from R&amp;D and Packaging Development - Ensure that all quality concerned change controls are reviewed and approved according concerned procedure before implementation - Ensure all the products manufactured, stored or delivered have permissions and licenses. - The ensure that all written GMP and Quality Concerned procedures and other production documents, including amendments have got proper quality review and authorization - Approve Site Validation Master Plan, Project Validation Master Plan and Validation Protocol - Provide analytical services for process validation. - Manage all change in quality management system those concerned to quality of product to ensure that they are proper control during implementation - To manage Quality Critical Event and ensure that the event is escalated to the concerned party according to concerned Global Policy. To be member of Quality Critical Event team for reviewing of decision for the event such as continuing production and sales, any level of recall, etc. - Support key quality processes during NPD, roll out from the site. - Support all key initiatives at the site as key member of the Site leadership team. - Measure and assess Quality performances. Meet Quality KPI's target set. - Initiate and/or support Quality Improvement projects Professional Qualifications/ Experience - Degree qualified preferably in Pharmacy/Chemistry - Degree in Quality Management / Post Graduation Pharmacy/Chemistry is an advantage. - Proven expertise and skills in Health Care product quality management techniques, processes and systems. - Familiarity with Pharmaceutical GMP / GLP Standards - Fluency in English is essential. advantageous / essential - Minimum 15-18 years in Quality Control /Quality Assurance of manufacturing site and / or technical center preferably within a multinational Health/ Pharma companies - Commercial acumen - Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability - Strong track record of delivery is critical - People management - Proven experience in leading managing and developing teams, able to influence people of all levels - High level of knowledge of a QC/QA process or system. - Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills - Knowledge of at least local legislation to ensure that the company meets its legal obligations in all areas - Proven experience in project management - In depth knowledge of GMP &amp; GLP Standards Personal Attributes - Goal Oriented: Ability to track record of delivery, sets clear priorities and meets deadlines - Natural leader: Positive, driven, has ability to influence, sets good examples, ambitious, determined and flexible - Strong commercial awareness with an international outlook - High level of communication ability and presentation skills energized and enthusiastic - Analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect details data, analyses and interprets results and recommend changes and improvements, good financial skills and P&amp;L understanding - Entrepreneurial decision-making skills and communication skills of a high order - People management - able to effectively influence people of all levels to drive change and improvement - Strong ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in the business and get things done - Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills - Strong analytical skills - including commercial, financial acumen and budget management - Result oriented: entrepreneurial and self-motivating, good planning and organizational ability - Ability to understand and work within the framework of the overall company strategy and relevant customer insights. - Resilient, resourceful and able to perform under pressure - Highly assertive and has an eye for details About RB: Want to make an impact and have the freedom to succeed?
