JOB SUMMARY:
This role would be responsible for ensuring indirect tax compliances, updates, notices, and assessment for Reckitt & its subsidiaries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Litigation:
- Ensure timely resolution of all notices raised for any Direct tax related concerns. Ensure that all the hearings are in compliance to the policies.
- Ensure legal stance of the organization is in compliance to plans and policies. Ensure compliance in terms of statutory timelines.
Tax Returns:
- Ensure all statutory compliances are taken care of while filing the return.
- Ensure accuracy of all refund related assessments by tax authorities.
Strategies to drive efficiency:
- Working on various tax projects with functions like supply services, finance to harness optimization and business efficiencies.
- Acting as tax consultant/advisor to various units/divisions within the company to ensure compliance and optimization of tax cost within the legal framework. This would include analysis of the provisions of GST law in this regard.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Qualified Chartered Account
- 2-8 years' experience in finance function in any organization of strong repute.
- Working experience in taxation function.
- Strong knowledge of corporate taxation & compliances.
- Strong knowledge of legal implications in taxation.
- Knowledge of recent developments in taxation.
Preferred:
- Post or pre-qualification LLB will be added an advantage.
- Work experience in FMCG or E-commerce Industry.

- Strong analytical skills - able to analyse and evaluate business issues, resolving matters to achieve performance and economic objectives.
- A self-starter with a high energy level; capable of directing numerous tasks under pressure with equanimity.

- A team player capable of working effectively with others on the senior management team.
- Working knowledge of relevant SAP module.
