- EatSure gives you everything for every food craving of yours from the most trusted and loved restaurants which are present pan India - be it Biryani from Behrouz, Pizza from Ovenstory, Burgers from Wendys, Wraps from Faasos, Wholesome Everyday Indian Khana from Lunchbox, Flavours of the world in a bowl from The Good Bowl, India's Best coffee - Slay Coffee, Desserts from Sweet Truth and the list goes on!

- EatSure has a food ordering app and offline food courts and corporate counters and many more.

- EatSure is the only platform which gives you 100% assurance about all aspects of your food order -people, processes, produce, packaging.

- At EatSure - we control everything for all restaurants - right from supply chain, packaging, kitchen operations, cooking and delivery and hence we give you the most assured food experience.

The Role :

- The Category Manager is one of the most critical roles within the D2C team. S/he is responsible for deciding what the customer sees on the platform (essentially owning the funnel and customer journey) and making a great impression to make sure they are delighted to transact, not just on their first visit, but also keep coming back with the multitude of offerings on EatSure.

- You're excited about this opportunity because you will.

- P&L Owner for ES Exclusives: Manage the ES Exclusives proposition, which is a major contributor to ES revenue. Responsibilities include overseeing pricing strategies, product selection, and optimizing gross margins. Ensure the competitiveness and profitability of the ES Exclusives by continuously enhancing product offerings and pricing models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation Output Metric for Measurement: ES Revenue & Gross Margins.

- Building 'Properties' on the platform: ES runs 5-6 monthly properties based on consumer-insights to merchandise, communicate and display those offerings on the storefront. For example: 'Month End Mania' is our longest running property which offers/displays high value benefits to users due to the lean-spending behavior in the last week of the month. The Category Manager is expected to align with cross functional owners of brands, growth and product to design new and execute current properties. Output Metric for Measurement: Home to Product Added Funnel

- Cross-Sell & UpSell: As an aggregator with full-stack support, ES can offer various missions across trusted brands in a single order to the customer. The Category Manager is responsible for identifying various touch points and offer customer-first suggestions for cross-sell/upsell across missions. S/he is also expected to align with respective brand heads to come up with customized solutions which match the needs of the upsell/cross-sell requirements. Output Metric for Measurement: Gross Margin Per Order, Merged Orders%| ie % of orders with >1 brand ordered)

Peak Day Planning & Execution: As food is one of the most important focus areas of any cause of celebration, it becomes very important for ES to play a pivotal role in making these days more joyous for our customers. The Category Manager is expected to align with various teams to make sure we curate and promote the right offering for the customers during these days on the storefront.

- Storefront Management & Online Merchandising: The Category Manager is responsible for the strategic placement of products & properties across all the app storefront touch points and also maintaining hygiene across these touchpoints as well. S/he will also be responsible for coordinating with the product/tech team requirements/bug fixes which can smoothen the customer experience on the app. Output Metric for Measurement: Home to Order Check Out Funnel

Key Requirements :


- Unlike any other such job opening, stating that one must be a creative thinker with strong analytical ability, data-driven thinking, knowledge of digital world blah blah is something we would refrain from, after all, those are a given, else you wouldn't be able to make sense out of whatever we have belabored till now.
