Rebel Foods' current presence in 8 countries (India, Indonesia, UAE, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Philippines) with 44 + brands (own + 3rd party) and 4000+ internet restaurants has been built on a unified platform - The Rebel Operating System. While for us it is still Day 1, we know we are in the middle of a revolution towards creating never seen before customer-first experiences.

The Role
- At Rebel, everything starts from the customer and we work backwards from him/her to make sure we are solving for him/her needs. Based on our preliminary research, there seem to be many customer first opportunities that could be built on top of our kitchen footprint and operating system. With our scale and footprint, we are uniquely positioned to bring magical new experiences for our customers beyond restaurants. And the opportunities range from Fresh Meat, RTE/RTC, Regional Snack Delicacies to solving for corporate cafeterias, or at home meal kits, smart devices to cook etc. Anything that helps the customer in his/her missions around food which is not a restaurant.
- To get closer to our ambitious vision on the non-resto missions business, we would be deeply focusing and building the business line from here on just as we have done for the restaurant missions. The business line as we read is a startup inside Rebel and thus requires massive nurturing and guidance to make it stronger everyday.
- We are looking for individuals who are customer obsessed, smart and analytical, strategic, hustler, passionate about solving problems through technology, and have had an entrepreneurial stint in the past. Most importantly, should be a 0-1 person who doesn't stop inventing for the customer in spite of multiple failures. You should be ready to fail and learn continuously to create something magical for the customer. We strongly believe one success out of 10 inventions in this business line will bring in a massive step change both in our company and overall customer experience.
- You will be responsible for ideating/identifying non-resto food missions, executing and achieving product market fit with the help of functions across the company leading from the front, and be responsible for the PnL for particular missions.
