Product Owner
Job Description:
- The Real-World Data Platform Product Owner role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.
These responsibilities include the following:
- Technology Strategy & Enablement: in the role of trusted advisor, strong domain knowledge including business process, industry best practices, in market solutions.
- Maintains awareness of emerging industry trends related to the product space and uses the knowledge to drive forward looking product strategy.
- Product Lifecycle Definition & Management: Accountable for creation and execution of the product roadmap.
- Product/Project Delivery: Lead the team(s) that will design and deliver the optimal set of products and services to the customers which meets the business strategy and requirements.
- The ability to think big picture and customer first is imperative.
- Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring that the platform supporting customer business is compliant with expected security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, and that continuity plans are in place for the platform.
- Feature Definition: Proven ability to translate customer requests, competitive activities, and industry trends into value drivers of new technology solutions and product requirements that can be easily understood by product teams, developers and other key constituencies within the organization.
- Service Management: Accountable for ensuring the right services levels are in place, to ensure adherence to those SLAs, and directly manage any Level 3 Support issues and escalations.
- People Management: Will work in collaboration with the broader team to drive and deliver expected business value for the customer to tight timelines adhering to the release management calendar where applicable.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with exposure to SAAS/PAAS products.
- Experience with RWD and healthcare data (EHR, claims).
- Agile / SCRUM experience and/or certification.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- High level of honesty, respect, dependability and flexibility.
- Experience in fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
- Strong business acumen.
- Must be comfortable gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred and,
- Great organizational skills and 'get things done' attitude.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
