Role : Lead, Real Estate Advisory - Debt Advisory & Capital Structuring
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview: The Real Estate Debt Advisory professional will be instrumental in building the Debt Advisory practice focused on Real Estate sector by advising clients on real estate financing solutions . This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian real estate market and the ability to develop and implement optimal financing structures that meet client needs and market conditions. The focus is to build this practice in Tier 1 cities by providing debt advisory services to Tier 2/3 developers.
Responsibilities:
Capital Structuring:
1. Advising clients on real estate financing solutions and structuring complex capital arrangements
2. Evaluate alternative financing solutions and recommend strategies to optimize capital efficiency
3. Work closely with the client's finance, legal teams and the Capital providers to structure transactions and deliver financing solutions
4. Identify and manage risks associated with capital structures and propose mitigation strategies
Client Management:
1. Build and nurture strong relationships with Clients, Lenders, and Investors in the Indian real estate sector.
2. Understand client goals and provide customized solutions that support their strategic objectives.
3. Lead negotiations and manage interactions between clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction execution.
Market Analysis:
1. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay abreast of trends, transaction structuring, pricing, and financing covenants in the Indian real estate sector.
2. Monitor regulatory changes and market developments and assess their impact on financing and structuring strategies.
Candidate Requirement:
1. Professionally qualified with 15+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry
2. In-depth understanding of products like Construction Finance, Structured Finance, Refinance in the Real Estate space.
3. Carries strong relationships in the Real Estate sector - Tier 2/tier 3 developers and woth the Lenders / Investors ecospace
4. Relationship management skills with clients and stakeholders
5. Ability to bring and execute business
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
