Job Title : Deputy Vice President - Vendor Payments Processing
Proposed Grade : DVP
Department : Central Management - Shared Services

Eligibility : DVP
Reporting To : Head (Vendor Payments Processing)
Position Purpose :
- Managing Vendor Payments processing team with adequate controls for accurate expense booking and analyzing expense trends to generate insights for the senior leadership team
Position Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities :
1 Responsible for rate verification as per agreement for non PO based payment
2 For PO based payments, verification against terms of PO with vendor bills prior to approval
3 The quantity / services provided / Asset installed confirmation to be obtained from respective teams
4 Ensure bills are processed as per agreed SLA
5 Provide MIS report to management as per requirement
6 This role is expected to analyze expense trends for any verification for Month on Month payments to the vendor
7 Consolidate expense provisioning for the assigned Business Units and provide it to the Finance
8 Analyzing the provisioning aging and follow-up with concerned teams for action
9 Understanding and knowledge of contract and commercial vetting
Qualifications and Experience Required :
Qualifications :
- Essential Graduate with 15 years of work experience / Post Graduate with 12 years of experience
- Preferred CA / Inter CA with 10 to 12 years of work experience
Experience :
- Essential Should have worked in Accounts Payable / Vendor bills processing team
- Preferred Experience of working in Banking in Accounts payable role
Competency Requirements :
1. Technical Skills.
- Understanding of Procure to Pay lifecycle is essential
- Previous experience of working on P2P would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of core banking system for transaction processing
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Worked on GL accounting system
