- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales activities in Vijayawada.
- This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing a team of over 60 sales executives, setting ambitious sales targets, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the credit card industry and will be adept at leading teams, achieving sales goals, and enhancing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 60+ sales executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Set clear sales objectives and provide guidance and support to the sales team to meet these targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training needs to enhance team performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the Vijayawada region.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Establish and monitor sales targets for individual sales executives and the team as a whole.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Oversee the resolution of customer issues and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the customer base.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings and contribute to the development of company-wide sales initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales management, specifically within the credit card industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong sales management, team leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Proven ability to set, achieve, and exceed sales targets.
