Overview:
Razorpay is looking for a sales leader who can drive growth & penetration in the SME ecosystem.
The person would be leading a team of 30+ energetic sales ninjas and be tasked with enabling millions of small, mid-scale enterprises in India to adopt Razorpay's full stack payments platform that is reimagining money movement needs for businesses in the country.
He/she would also be collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in envisioning a robust product roadmap for the SME segment. The role would provide opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.
What will you do?
- Drive new acquisitions, retention and revivals for Razorpay.
- Drive an efficient, driven inside sales team based on industry best practices on processes, success metrics and productivity enhancement technology platforms.
- Build, manage and lead a large inside sales team.
- Increase business adoption and market penetration in the SME sector
- Work on cross-selling and upselling Razorpay's stack of products to existing customers.
- Track and present key business metrics
- Work with senior management, cross-functional teams, recruitment teams and other relevant stakeholders to forecast and manage business requirements
- Drive market research, deepen consumer persona understanding and continuously sharpen the sales pitch
- Actively drive client conversations and execute negotiations as and when required.
- Build processes and implement controlling mechanisms for the team.
- Build and set OKRs and KRAs for individuals and for the team.
- Act as the final point of escalation on service and business issues.
Requirement:
- 12+ years of overall professional experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in managing and leading a team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding established goals.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications.
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
