About the Job : Razorpay's partnerships team is responsible for identifying, fostering and growing relationships with enterprise partners in India. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you will be on the front line of interacting with our most strategic enterprise partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Razorpay's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help grow the enterprise business.
As the Associate Director for Enterprise partnerships, you will lead the enterprise business end to end, managing a team of over 10 people. You will be instrumental in all aspects of the business from acquiring, onboarding to managing and strengthening relationships with partners and merchants on the Razorpay platform.
You will also own C-level relationships with key enterprise partners and grow them to their potential, ensuring partner delight. You will work on cutting edge payments products that deliver processing solutions for our merchants. You will also create large, consistent business growth streams for Razorpay by unlocking great value for merchants.
What You Will Do :- Be responsible for driving and scaling up the end to end enterprise business pan-India.
- Have complete ownership of enterprise partnership sales targets and metrics
- Identify new categories where we can explore enterprise partnerships across the ecosystem
- Shape product and business by building powerful and lasting partnerships that offer brands/merchants innovative ways to grow.
- Enable internal operational agility and efficient cross-team functioning
- Work with your team and cross functionally to ensure high lead quality and process to maximize impact
- Worked with partners and merchants to resolve any issues and minimize escalations
- Be responsible for internal reporting all numbers and potentially improving processes
- Work closely with other teams such as Product, Engineering and Sales to improve product loops, support processes and ensure a great partner experience.
- Manage all post-lead interactions with Enterprise level partners through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product and speak with partners about the most relevant features/functionality for partners to be able to sell better.
- Be an escalation point to drive resolution in a timely, proactive manner.
- Build, foster and grow partnerships with all strategic and jey partners
- Enable the team to create a systematic, process-driven approach to identify and source new partnerships opportunities.
- Structure, negotiate and execute partnership deals with brands and organizations across various categories.
- Interface with other Razorpay teams like Product, Marketing, Analytics etc to drive win-win-win engagements for Razorpay consumers, brands.
- Help the product team discover brand/merchant needs more effectively and help evolve the Razorpay product.
- Deliver great partner experience (partner NPS) when working with our organization.
Preferred Qualifications :- 9-12 years of experience in the enterprise payments space in India.
- Experience with team management
- Ability to think out of the box, innovate and find creative solutions to grow the business
- Has experience building and fostering strong relationships with enterprise partners
- Is an excellent negotiator; have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is very comfortable building and managing relationships with C-Level executives, and has been in a client facing role
- Experience working in the fintech industry with good insight into the payment landscape
- Experience in the merchant acquiring business
- Ability to map the potential of each brand, category or industry.
- Goal-oriented & thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Have the ability to deal with ambiguity and chart a path forward.
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills
