Rating Analyst/Senior Rating Analyst - SME Retail

JD :

Designation : Rating analyst/Senior rating analyst for a leading rating Company.

Location : Mumbai and Pune

Role :

- Managing a team of rating analysts involved in analyzing company's financial and business performance, benchmarking these against peer performance, preparing reports that captures the rationale behind the rating, making credit rating recommendation to the Rating Committee.

- Undertake financial statement analysis, which includes analysis of P&L, balance sheet, and key ratios

- Interact with clients to understand their business model and projection

- Prepare credit rating/evaluation reports, based on management discussion, financial and business risk analysis

- Recommend rating/evaluation, based on detailed analysis

- Achieve monthly target of preparing reports, and maintaining the quality and analytical inputs in the report.

- Ensuring Process adherence :

a) Follow defined processes in day to day execution of assignments

b) Ensure that knowledge gained is retained and documented through operating manuals

c) Strictly practice and follow all Compliance, Procedures, Guidelines and SOPs.

d) Planning client deliverables on schedule

- Monitoring the productivity and maintaining a high quality of analytics in rating reports.

- Maintaining and sharing various MIS giving out productivity numbers with seniors. Handling all client/other stakeholder's communications and resolving client queries on time.

Essential Qualifications : MBA or Equivalent

Skill Sets :

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Understanding of accounting and financial analysis and concepts

- Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines

- Understanding of processes and systems

CTC Band : Not more than 10L
