Job Description - Senior Manager/AVP- Marketing
Based in Noida, we are looking for a Product Marketer who will support the successful marketing launch of Convertio, our marketing and conversion solution for the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be a digital marketer who likes to use data and technology and is comfortable working with external agencies.
Core responsibilities:
Buyer Personas - Develop a deep understanding of our customers and prospective customers, what their pain points are, and how they go about deciding on/buying solutions like ours. Conduct customer interviews and focus groups. Create case studies. Help the demand generation team figure out how to reach these core audiences and develop brand awareness.
Product Positioning - Determine and articulate our product's position in the market. Consult on pricing and packaging. Identify short and long-term strategic threats to our business and help craft a plan to combat them. Track top competitors and market trends in order to forge winning strategies.
Sales enablement - Determine and articulate the key selling points and value proposition that we present on our website, in our collateral, and on our sales calls/demos. Develop sales tools that help potential clients understand the ROI of using RateGain.
Product Launches - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate the launch of new products and releases to both internal and external audiences.
Market Research - Guide market research to determine market segments that could be served by RateGain's products, and craft a plan for successfully entering those segments. Interface with the product management team to deliver marketing requirements that inform the product roadmap.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute the go-to-market strategy in partnership with product management, marketing communication, and channel marketing while maintaining the source-of-truth integrated calendar
- Coordinate the alignment of marketing plans, product and service roadmaps for this new product
- Market opportunity and sizing across a wide variety of possible solutions, including comfort, security, home health, awareness, lifestyle and other connected home needs
- Support in building and growing online marketing channels; including Paid Search, Display, Affiliate and Social, and Mobile
- Form the strategy to leverage key segments of the existing customer base and ecosystem for Convertio growth
- Support in partnering with external agencies to plan, develop, execute, and analyze traffic driving opportunities
- Monitor budgets relative to aggressive CPA targets
- Maintain performance reports
- Develop expertise of marketing KPIs, regularly communicating results to the larger team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Marketing preferred
- 7+ years of experience in marketing SaaS product
- Proven success with digital product launches
- Proven understanding of campaign performance metrics for online marketing
- Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics
- Self-motivated, nimble and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Experience in managing external media and performance agencies
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Results oriented with strong bias for action, even in ambiguous situations
- Strong knowledge of Indian cultural and media landscape
- Comfortable working with international teams and cultures
