Job Description : Manager - Product Management

Role & Responsibilities:

- The Product Manager is the owner of a product line and is responsible for planning, development and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.

- The role encompasses gathering business requirements, defining the product vision, developing the product roadmap and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure delivery in line with the roadmap and RateGain's revenue / customer satisfaction goals.

Key responsibilities:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality revenue management and related technology solutions

- Define the product strategy and roadmap for new and existing product components and take ownership of their delivery

- Deliver required documentation for Engineering and Development teams with prioritized features and corresponding commercial justification

- Work with the Engineering and Development teams to ensure successful delivery of new products and enhancements

- Direct and support the marketing of updated and enhanced products and the launch of new products

- Work with Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Technical Support teams to provide go-to-market strategies, product expertise and guidance.

- Be an expert with respect to competitor products and services and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the market

- Supervise and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Data Scientists

Education & Experience Summary

- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Product Manager (preferably in a SaaS company delivering B2B solutions)

- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred but not a requirement)

- Technical background, with experience in Microsoft technologies will be an added advantage but not required

- Knowledge and experience in travel / hospitality technology domain with products that are data analytics driven will be an advantage

- Experience in managing a team of business analysts is preferred

Skills:

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions

- Ability to organize and lead multiple threads of activity concurrently

- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude

- Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
