Job Description - Manager - Account Management
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manager - Account Management is expected to ensure effective cascading of company's core values, philosophies, strategies and business goals, to the team and ensures sales growth with excellent customer service.
- Establish excellent understanding of the client's business and provide inputs to the Sales & Marketing team for tools and services required for creation, coordination and implementation of effective marketing and communications plans. Additionally, will also be required to develop effective sales tools which can be implemented at the ground level.
- SRM is expected to identify opportunities within the client business's and help bridge those gaps by providing solutions, create value and maximize growth and improve the business performance of their clients.
- SRM Manager will be required to give product demonstration, map customer requirement to the product features, establish customer benefits, negotiate and grow the business opportunities with the assigned clients & in assigned geography.
- Manager shall be required to generate revenue from the assigned set of existing customer accounts and ensure revenue growth from the assigned geography by account creation, mining, analysis and up-selling.
- Shall be responsible for setting and achieving annual sales goals and sales growth targets, as well as ensuring all products are priced to produce corporate profit and market competitiveness.
- Periodic travel around the geography will be required to actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings to deliver effective campaign support.
Functional Competencies Required:
- Ability to monitor and analyze market trends with respect to our products & services in relation to our competitors.
- Ability to implement innovative & creative ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability.
- Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate
- Ability to prepare & recommend, strategies for client mining, analyzing, up-selling, growing & retaining clients within planned budgets, RFPs and Estimations etc.
- Producing reports & matrices to monitor action plans leading to performance results
- Build, develop & establish relationships with assigned customers & channel partners to achieve sustainable profit and growth.
- Fosters and grows positivity with all the assigned customer; coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer satisfaction, account mining, revenue management & generation
- Strong capabilities to analyze and provide inputs for sales forecasts and business reviews.
- Assessing need of innovativeness in products and services based on customer feedback.
- Work in close cooperation with all key functions and help to maximize the capabilities of business.
Education & Experience Summary:
Graduate/ Postgraduate from with more than 5-9 years experience in Sales & Business Development and must have managed international geography.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with ability to partner effectively across the organization and constructively engage in ''challenging conversations'' with internal and external partners
- Assertive, a relationship building, pleasant personality and strong presentation skills.
- Good knowledge & understanding of travel & hospitality industry.
- Client focused with strong belief in persistent focus on client satisfaction & ability to partner with sales & account.
- Team player with ability to demonstrate individual accomplishments are measured by the success of team.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate strategies into action plans to achieve business goals
- Excellent management skills with ability to monitor and develop clear deliverables statements, measure productively with customers
- Strong project management skills as a self starter with ability to work effectively in a team environment. Highly organized and able to gracefully manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously.
