Job Description - Chief Marketing Officer
Chief Marketing Officer role will be responsible for creating plans and strategies for RateGain's new and upcoming products, marketing initiatives, mapping industry's best practices and trends that will help RateGain elevate its brand as well as retain its clients
The CMO role requires a highly creative, some level of entrepreneurial flare, team player as he/she will also need to work closely with sales or other teams
Primary Responsibilities :
- Complete ownership of marketing activity to elevate RateGain brand through innovative marketing ideas to make it appear global yet local in each of the geographies we operate
- Enhance brand awareness, present RateGain as a thorough leader in the areas of revenue management, distribution and marketing with Hospitality and Travel industry through multi-channel marketing, participation in events, trade shows, social selling and content driven digital marketing
- Prepare go-to-Market strategy, launching campaigns, generate leads for new products, using tools Elevate RateGain brand through innovative marketing ideas globally. Enable RateGain appear global yet local in each of the geographies we operate
- Manage entire marketing budget with associated metrics around ROI using tools like hubspot, marketo etc. to analyze effectiveness of marketing initiatives
- Assist in market research, competitive intelligence, pricing and launching promotions for different products,
- Foster industry partnership for joint marketing / branding with well-known organisations in the travel and hospitality space
- Develop and creatively lead the execution of overall Integrated Marketing Plans to achieve overall business growth target. Devolve the overall plan by Region and By-product
- Analyzing competition, industry and market trends with the ability to translate insights into actionable tasks in line with the marketing plan
Skill set :
- More than 17 years of industry experience with MBA in Marketing from a reputed B-school
- Must have knowledge of software product sales (especially) in context of SaaS environment
- Must come with a lot of content marketing, knowledge, experience on social selling
- Must have worked on global marketing of new & existing products
- Understanding of Digital marketing including SEO, Google Ad-works and LinkedIn solutions for lead generation
- Excellence in positioning products across different geographies and market segments
- Must be delivery focused, ability to handle and close assignments in aggressive timelines
- Ability to handle large, capable marketing teams, performance management and enhancement
