Role AVP Product Engineering

Purpose of this Role

We are looking for an AVP Engineering to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our Distribution Engineering business vertical. You will communicate with employees; stakeholders and customers to ensure our company's technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technology trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

Technology Stack Required:

- 10-12 years of experience in working with .Net or Java technologies

- Expertise in architecting, designing and development of software applications using Microsoft / open source technologies

- Expertise in developing services using micro service architecture

- Expertise in building scalable applications using message queues like Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ

- Sound knowledge of internals of MSSQL server (or any other enterprise database).

- Experience in resolving performance issues through application design, web server (IIS or similar) and database tuning

- Experience in building high performance applications using NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra etc.

- Experience in using distributed cache like Redis, Hazelcast etc.

- Experience in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark.

- Exposure to AWS, GCP or other cloud platforms

- Exposure to Java and related technologies

Leadership Skills and Team Management -

Indicators

- Experience in working with the senior management team in the organization.

- Experience in working with cross functional teams

- Built and managed high performing teams which have delivered strong results.

- Excellent communication skills. Should be able to articulate his ideas well and escalate problems on time with the right forum.

Qualification-

M.Tech, B.Tech

- 10-15 years of experience in software industry

- 4-7 years of full-blown techno managerial role in software industry

- Proven experience in setting up quality standards for enterprise applications.

- Capable of liaising with DevOps, Infra and other internal teams to meet the project requirements of timing, performance, monitoring, testability and scalability.
