Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Execute and champion each and every technical task related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Understanding of the latest changes in organic and local search
- Maintain high levels of awareness of organic and local search trends, best practices and solutions
- Project management - manage and optimize multiple websites
- Lead the SEO team to drive natural search visits
- Lead and implement cross team strategies to build and defend/improve SEO traffic and revenue
- Guide implementation of SEO best practices in new product and engineering initiatives and work with product team to optimize and maximize onsite SEO
- Research and resolve HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues
- Manage creation of on-page SEO content, and conduct site audits and SEO QA of releases
- Monitor online campaigns regularly and make recommendations on goals to improve key performance metrics and drive revenue
- Contact and communicate with clients on a regular basis to review website and campaign performances, and ROI, suggesting additional online marketing strategies to increase conversion
- Keep current on the latest trends and technology in the search marketing and SA marketing industry
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision within a team environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Promote high standards of professionalism, integrity and leadership throughout the global service delivery organization
- Ability to drive qualified traffic to web site.
Key Skills Set:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following areas : business, marketing, communications, e-business engineering or computer science
- 4 - 7 years of hands - on SEO management experience
- Over 4+ years of experience working in a managerial/team lead position
- Should be able to execute technical SEO tasks
- Strong Analytical skills and experience using enterprise Web Analytics software e.g. Omniture, Webtrends, Core Metrics, Google Analytics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including presentation skills
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple simultaneous projects involving global, cross-functional product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints
- Fanatically passionate about SEO and SEM
- Experience working in the internet marketing field highly desirable, preferably within the hospitality and/or travel vertical
