Regional Director (RD) - Enterprise Cloud Sales
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region.
- Understand and set clear sales targets and objectives aligned with overall business goals.
- Understand the Service line targets and associated objectives.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
2) Team Leadership and Management:
- Own building the team, drive the Talent Acquisition Team.
Find and Develop the best sales talent
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
- Hand hold the Sales Team, based on where they need support.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals within the region.
- Clarity of role and responsibility to each team member
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
3) Sales Execution:
- Negotiate agreements with clients and partners.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Ensure the achievement of assigned sales quotas within the geographic or demographic territory.
4) Pipeline Development and Management:
- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Monitor and track sales leads, opportunities, and deals.
- Monitor and track Deal Movement, Aging of deals for accurate forecasting.
- Provide clear commits for the quarter with 80% accuracy.
- Collaborate with marketing, BDR & product teams to drive lead generation.
5) Relationship Management (Customer/OEM):
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, customers, and partners.
- Customer Reference and Video Testimonials
- Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
6) Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Regularly assess sales performance against targets.
- Provide clarity to team for VP achieved, IPB, Incentives as may be applicable to the team.
- Measure High Value Deals in the funnel and wins.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to meet or exceed goals.
- Put in mechanism to measure Meetings/ Accounts/ Funnel Generation/ Order Booking/
Revenue and Collections.
- Regional Budget, Productivity and Profitability
7) Market Intelligence and Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Remember that the role of a Sales Region Director is multifaceted, requiring a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.
