Designation: Principal Consultant – Retail Mobility Solutions

Role Description:
- This role will be responsible for building mobility and digital solutions for retail and CPG industry, building business cases for retailers to leverage mobility and other emerging technologies to create business value. This is primarily a business consulting role, with a unique combination of business consulting along with emerging technology focus.
- Build out a small team of consultants who are focused on mobility and digital solutions on multiple domains
- Identify emerging technologies that change business models in the industry and identify business cases around the technology changes
- Create and manage business plans for the retail industry mobility practice within RapidValue, eventually moving to the role of practice head for the vertical
- Work with field sales team to sell and deliver consulting engagements, as part of practice building
- Establish a retail innovation lab to showcase the impact of emerging technologies in retail
Requirements:
- MBA from a premier business school with 6-10 years of consulting experience (IIMs preferred)
- 6-10 years of consulting experience, preferably in retail industry, implementing IT solutions on retail industry or creating business solutions for retail industry
- Ability to conceptualize industry solutions through secondary and primary research. Expert understanding of retail industry preferred
- Ability to build and drive a team of consultants who will be focused on building industry solutions
- Experience creating and managing business plans. Experience working in early stage environments will be a plus
- Entrepreneurial mentality, self-driven, and ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Able to energize and inspire others to commit to and take action on business priorities
Education:
- MBA from a premier business school with 6-10 years of consulting experience (IIMs preferred)
