- To ensure that unsafe actions and unsafe conditions are eliminated in phased manner.
- To ensure that daily surveillance report is in place.
- To ensure safety training to the employees
- To conduct safety committee meeting required under the factories act and implement recommendation of the committee.
- Enforce safety policy declared by the occupier under factories act.
- To ensure that safety permit system is in place.
- Ensure that safety culture is built in the plant.
- Investigation of accident/incident in the plant and suggest safety measures to prevent recurrence of incidence.
- To ensure that periodically mock drills are conducted and employees are actively participating
- To update on site emergency plan.
- Factory licence is in place.
- Explosive licence is in place.
- Consent for operation, hazardous waste authorization is in place.
- Co-ordinate training programs. Plan outside faculties for specialized safety training programs.
- Ensure smooth operation of incinerator and RO Plant.
- Ensure that treated effluent meets pollution control norms.
- Ensure capacity enhancement of ETP to meet business demands
- Built safety culture in the plant.
- Implement Corporate EHS guidelines.
- Advise management for improving safety standard in plant
- Ensure that legal provisions under Factories Act, Environment Laws, Explosive rules are followed.
- Liaison with government officials in the interest of factory
- Implementation of ISO 14001: 2004: Environment Management System.
- Implementation of OHSAS 18001: 2007 system.
- Installation and commissioning Thermal Evaporation System for treating effluent.
- Up-gradation of Effluent treatment plant.
- Installation and commissioning of Reverse Osmosis plant.
- Revamping of Incinerator.
Essential Qualification: B.Sc./ Diploma in Safety.
Prior Exposure of EHS is preferred.
