Specialist - Learning & Development
Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Assessment: Identify the learning needs of employees and the organization through training needs assessments, performance reviews, and feedback from managers
- Learning Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and employee development goals
- Training Program Design: Design and develop training programs, workshops, e-learning courses, and other learning initiatives to address the identified needs
- Content Creation: Create or curate training content, including training materials, presentations, videos, and interactive learning resources
- Learning Delivery: Oversee the delivery of training programs, whether conducted in-person, virtually, or through e-learning platforms
- Training Facilitation: Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and sometimes for managers or other internal stakeholders
- Employee Onboarding: Design and implement effective onboarding programs to help new employees integrate into the organization and acquire necessary skills and knowledge
- Learning Technology: Evaluate, implement, and manage learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies to support training initiatives
- Measurement and Evaluation: Establish methods for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and collect feedback from participants to continuously improve the learning experience
- Budget Management: Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and cost-effectively
