About Raintree Family Office :

- Raintree Family Office is a single-family office committed to tackling India's chronic social issues through a hybrid model of socially conscious investing arm and a private philanthropic foundation.

- Our investments are diversified across ESG conscious alternative assets as well as public market equities. Within ESG conscious alternative assets, we make private equity investments in pro-ESG and innovative for-profit enterprises that address critical social issues.

- Raintree Family Office was set up in 2017 and is supported by the Dandekar family.

Role Overview :

- Raintree Family Office is a young family office that is looking for a candidate to help build and nurture an ecosystem that supports its investment objectives.

- The candidate will need to independently manage and cultivate, new and ongoing relationships with Investment Bankers, Family Offices, AIFs, Wealth Managers, Media, Industry associations with the aim to leverage these relationships to meet Raintree Family Office's investment objectives.

- This is a result-oriented role and requires the candidate to be a self-starter.

Typical Deliverables :

- Investment opportunity sourcing: Develop a wide variety of sourcing channels and source appropriate investment opportunities based on Raintree's investment criteria across sectors and sub-sectors

- Investment process support: Coordination and communication support to investment team for all stages of investment and post-investment process

- Ecosystem development: Development of network of family offices, PE/VC funds, investment bankers, entrepreneurs, industry associations etc. at multiple levels

- Event representation: The candidate will help organise Raintree's representation in relevant events and maintain a forward-looking calendar for the same

- Family Office and Promoter profiling: Supporting the family office's corporate communications function

Education & Work Experience:

- The candidate should have an MBA in finance

- 6-8 years of work experience in the finance sector in a relationship management role

- An ideal candidate must have 2-4 years work experience in a VC PE/family office/ HNI wealth management or in a similar profile

Key Skills/Abilities :

The candidate should:

- Have the ability to work independently

- Must possess networking and relationship building skills

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Have an understanding on Impact and ESG enterprises

- Display maturity, ability to think on her/his feet
