Position : Director - Marketing, PR & Events
Job responsibilities:
Marketing :
- Support the brand in creation, execution and analysis of all initiatives designed to increase awareness of the Quintessentially Lifestyle brand in India, which therefore drive lead traffic for the brand.
- Manage all of Quintessentially Lifestyle's marketing & communication campaigns, including online advertising, media planning, offline advertising and Quintessentially Lifestyle's creative and messaging development.
- Work closely with external agencies and vendors on planning, evaluation and execution of creative concepts, including drafting creative briefs, etc.
- Create and execute member acquisition & engagement strategies
- Ensure media plans are successfully executed in print, online, and non-traditional (such as social media) campaigns.
- Help identify non-traditional opportunities to promote Quintessentially Lifestyle in India
PR :
- As the PR resource, this person will the - thought-leader- on all PR/external relations activities, and will be responsible for developing, executing, and measuring the India public relations strategy, overseeing a PR budget and managing the PR agency.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic & creative leadership and for managing execution of public relations, media relations and industry relations for Quintessentially Lifestyle. He/she will align senior management and appropriate stakeholders to the developed PR strategy.
- Development of a - PR calendar/plan- of releases, interactions, speaking opportunities, stunts, media outreach, media workshops/junkets, strategic media partner cultivation and other activities and ensuring its execution by the PR agency.
- Developing a strategy for using social media to facilitate PR goals and executing it by managing Quintessentially Lifestyle's social media presence.
- Project-manage consumer communications initiatives from development to release.
- Manage public relations agencies and any other communications related vendors.
Events :
- Acquire exclusive access for events and activities for India members, with a definite benefit. Work on building & maintaining key client relationships.
- Network and align with new partners and opportunities for events access. To research & coordinate with clients & agencies for the India events calendar
- Align& coordinate with international offices for the international event calendar.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Post-graduate degree in Communications or Marketing
- 10+ years formal brand communications & marketing experience in a corporate or advertising agency environment with at least 2+ years of hands on exposure to PR (either with a PR agency or directly handling PR for a corporate/brand)
- Consumer product and/or lifestyle industry experience preferred; online industry experience desirable. Strong knowledge of the internet, online marketing and social media
- Proven track record of developing and managing metrics-oriented marketing campaigns
- Must be able to plan and organize major marketing programs and coordinate development of creative and media materials by agencies/vendors and internal marketing team
- Experience using marketing &public relations as a core tactic within a brand marketing environment required.
- Outstanding communication skills a must; both verbal and written, rigorous attention to detail a must. Excellent writing, communications, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively. Strong analytical skills: understands and utilizes metrics relevant to the role.
- Clear communication through expression of facts and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner.
- Good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business.
