Role:
- As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies for assigned accounts and markets including collaborating with the management to set targets.
- The role also involves covering the full sales cycle, from prospect identification and outreach to scheduling meetings, presenting solutions, creating and sending proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Furthermore, it will be essential to build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities.
- Another important aspect of the role would be keeping all internal stakeholders informed on the monthly/quarterly sales performance and providing forecasts/plans for the future.
- From an external stakeholder point of view, it will be important to attend industry events to increase the visibility for the company and to identify new opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing sales strategies for assigned accounts and markets and collaborate with the management team to set targets for each.
- Managing the complete sales cycle, from prospect identification and outreach to scheduling calls and meetings, presenting Quidich's suite of products and/or finding solutions based on client needs, creating and sending proposals, negotiating and ultimately closing the sale.
- Cultivating strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners to maintain their trust, to generate repeat business and to create opportunities for upselling.
- Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the sports broadcasting and media landscape.
- Tracking and reporting on sales performance, including monthly/quarterly targets, pipeline activity, and revenue generation.
- Provide forecasts to senior leadership.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and identify potential sales opportunities.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- 7-9 years in a sales or business development role, preferably within sports broadcasting, sports media or a related industry.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business relationships.
- Strong understanding of the sports broadcasting and media industry.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and digital media in the sports industry is a plus.
- Having an existing network and relationships across the sports industry will be highly desirable.
- Strong ability to negotiate and close deals, balancing the needs of the client with the goals of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior executives and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build rapport with clients, sponsors, and industry influencers.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, Microsoft Office Suite and creation of sales reports and forecasts.
- A genuine interest in sports and understanding of the sports media landscape is essential.
