Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantitative Finance Analyst with 1-3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The role is a 1-year contractual position with the intention to convert it to a full-time role towards the end of the tenure.
Fund Overview: The fund is established by an ex-trader from Deutsche Bank, with an 8-year track record of generating a 30% IRR. We specialize in investing in US and European equities, leveraging advanced hedging strategies to optimize our investment positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantitative models to analyze and predict market trends.
- Assist in the development and execution of hedging strategies to manage risk and enhance portfolio performance. Monitor existing investment strategies and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and traders to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a quantitative finance role.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the top IITs.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and hedging strategies. Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools.
