Job description:

Looking for a talented Options trader for a derivatives trading and market making firm. Multi faceted role includes market making and risk management of options, developing derivative strategies as well as business development in order to attract options flow. In our company, software developers, traders and analysts work closely together and collaboratively. We are looking for an Options trading role, which incorporates the following:

- A trader who will deploy index, currency and single stock option market making and trading strategies and has worked either with broking houses or prop trading desks running various option based strategies.

- Managing the options risk of an active, electronic and automated traded platform with ability to understand portfolio level hedging of Greeks.

- Analysis of trading performance and development of new logic to improve trading performance

- Work closely with programmers to manage the development of sophisticated trading/risk system - which includes understanding requirements, developing new functionality etc.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of derivatives and options- in particular option trading strategies

- Knowledge of options - pricing, Greeks, volatility trading, hedging

- At least 2 years of actual derivatives trading experience

- Strong analytical abilities including the use of Excel for analysis

- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

- Master's degree in finance or related area. Preferably some quantitative experience either from a Bachelors in Engineering or courses/degree in financial engineering or quantitative finance

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Very strong communication skills- ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and interact well with both peers as well as senior management
